Are You a Psychic?

One question I have had asked several times is if I am a Psychic. I'm not a psychic. I am a person who see auras. There are times that I see something in someone's aura they are unaware of. If it is showing up in their aura it is already in existence. For example, if I were to see an injury or illness before they are exhibiting major symptoms, then when those symptoms start manifesting it could look like I saw the future. In reality the sickness or injury was already present.

It is understandable that the difference may be confusing. It has taken me my whole life to understand what I do, and I will continue to learn about it the rest of my life. I have a feeling I only understand a fraction of what I see, which leaves me lots of room for growth.

Understanding the Basics

Many people think of an aura as nothing more than a faint light around your body, but it is much more. It almost always has several colors, shapes, and layers. It has so much dimension.

People are worried that I'll know their deep dark secrets. While it's true that there are some things I will know about you through your aura, things that may reflect your past, it's not an open book that reveals your whole history to me. I often get asked, "What does that mean?" Many times I know and many times I don't. It has been a long journey learning how to understand a person's aura. For me, I get very distinct feelings about what I see in someone's aura. It's a combination of what I've seen before and what I feel at that moment that helps me determine what it means for that particular individual. When I'm asked to look at someone's aura I take time to prepare. I make it a matter of prayer, beforehand, that I can be open to understand what I will see and what it means.

There is so much history I would love to share with you, so many experiences that have taught me what I know. I hope that over time I'll be able to revisit those experiences with you. So if you have specific questions please ask them. I'll do my best to answer them and give examples.

I don't remember the exact moment I saw my first aura. I do know that when I was 15 I saw my first aura that was not around a person. It was a florescent bluish-purple light around my kitchen table. I was taken off guard and felt a little scared. However, I always had very loving understanding parents. I was able to talk about it with them. I believe I've always seen auras around people I just didn't know what it was. To me it was normal, nothing strange. When I was younger I sensed them more than I saw them. The older I got the more it came to life visually.

It was exciting, an adventure. I was excited to share my experiences with friends and family. I soon learned however, that seeing auras was not something everyone could do. As I shared my experiences with others outside my family I found that I soon became known as strange and evil. At one point in time I even heard that people were saying I was a devil worshiper. I grew up in a very small town where nothing stays secret for long. I quickly found I could not talk about this with others outside of my family, and a few close friends. That was a lonely place to be.

As an adult I still rarely share my gift with many people. The people that I usually share with have heard about me from family members. I've been encouraged at times to write a book about seeing auras and spirits, another gift I have, which is what brings me to this blog. I realize now that there are more people like me, having experiences that they would like to talk about and share. This blog is somewhere for people to share their experiences and have open discussions about them. I look forward to our many conversations.
